Executive Vice President, Chief Brands and Strategy Officer
Lawson Whiting is the executive vice president, chief brands and strategy officer for Brown-Forman Corporation. He also serves on Brown-Forman's Executive Leadership Team.
Whiting joined Brown-Forman in 1997 and has since held positions of increasing responsibility throughout the company. After beginning his career in the Corporate Development group, he subsequently served as the director of investor relations, director of finance for wines and director of global business strategy for the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands. He then held roles as director of finance, North America Region, and managing director, Western Europe. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, chief brands officer.
Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Whiting worked as a credit portfolio manager for the Northern Trust Company in Chicago, Illinois, and as a financial analyst for The Mariner Group.
Whiting holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University and a master of business administration from the University of Chicago.
