Community Relations
Brown-Forman and its employees have a deep sense of responsibility to actively contribute their time, energy and resources into improving our communities.
Community Involvement
Brown-Forman strives to be the respected leader in driving positive change in the communities where our employees live, work, and raise their families. While our business competes at a global level, we understand the true measure of our success may very well be found in our very own backyard.
Employee Volunteerism
At Brown-Forman, we promote partnerships between our employees and community organizations that reflect our values and enhance our sense of corporate citizenship. Brown-Forman employees mobilize throughout our communities to respond to serious civic needs and challenges across many areas, including community enrichment projects, environmental stewardship, educational institutions, and basic human services.
We take a leadership position in our hometown of Louisville, KY, supporting efforts to improve and strengthen the city by investing in our educational system, supporting diverse art groups, and numerous other civic organizations. The company is a major donor to such organizations as Actors Theatre of Louisville, Kentucky Opera, University of Louisville, Muhammad Ali Center, Kentucky Educational Television, and Bellarmine University, among many others. A large majority of employees contribute to the Metro United Way and Louisville's Fund for the Arts. And more than 75 employees serve on the boards of local non-profit organizations.
Corporate Contributions
At Brown-Forman we focus our philanthropic activity toward non-profit organizations that make a difference in the lives of individuals and improve the overall community for the benefit of its citizens. Our investments are sound and the results profound. Apply for a donation or grant.
